The New York City Children’s Chorus has two outstanding voice teachers on staff, Katherine Wessinger and Paul D’Arcy. Parents of choristers that wish to further their child's individual vocal study in the bel canto tradition should email Ms. Karloski > to set up lessons. Lessons are scheduled by semester, generally once a week for 30, 45 or 60 minutes, depending on the age of the chorister. Private lessons are available for children ages 8 and up.
Lessons are held at 921 Madison Avenue. All choristers that intend to audition for NYC performing arts high schools or college scholarship auditions should begin study with Ms. Wessinger or Mr. D’Arcy six to twelve months prior to their auditions.
